This service focuses on the registration of a property under the name of the bank in case of property being mortgaged for the purpose of finances.

Required documents

Required documents

  • Title Deed.
  • Original Mortgage letter from the bank.
  • Three Original Mortgage Contracts from the bank that mentions the following:
  • Owner name and Power of Attorney name (if POA is applicable).
  • Property details as per title deed.
  • Mortgage Value.
  • Start and end date of mortgage (till full payment).
  • Emirates ID of the owner or POA.
  • Original power of attorney in Arabic (if applicable; must mention mortgaging of properties).

Land Department Fees

  • 0.25% of the mortgage amount + 290 via a manager’s cheque in the name of Dubai Land Department.
